Inaugurated in 1969, the Plan incliné de Saint-Louis/Arzviller, located on the canal de la Marne au Rhin, celebrates its 50th anniversary in 2019\\. This boat lift, entrusted by the State to Voies navigables de France, allows you to descend 44.55 meters in 4 minutes like the 17 locks of the former Valley of the Lock Keepers. The tourist exploitation of this work is managed by the Société d'Économie Mixte (SEM), of which the Community of Communes of the Country of Phalsbourg is a member.
