This park is the only place of Reims where they find tracks of the medieval ramparts, destroyed in the XIXth century but the tower of the well and the postern of which remain(subsist), listed(classified) in conformance with(for) historic monuments. It is at the heart of the zone of crayères concerned by the project of Area of Putting in Value of Architecture and of Heritage (AVAP). The park is crashed diverse gasolines(essences) of trees (spruces, maples, paulownias) and mounds are covered with a spontaneous vegetation. The park was rehabilitated on the prescriptions of the Workshop Aline Le Cœur, architect landscapist: interventions concerned promotion(valuation) and enrichment of the plant pallet, the consolidation of the elements of rocks and characteristic staircases of the landscaping of the beginning of the XXth century. Spaces offering a view(sight) on the patrimonial elements of architecture were brought out(loosened).
