Ardoaren eta Arrainaren ibilbidea antzina mandazainek eta merkatariek egiten zuten Bizkaiko eta Arabako Errioxako arrantza-portu nagusien artean, produktu horien eta beste batzuen merkataritzarako.
Ibilbide honek "Prado de La Paúl" Guardiako urmaeletako Biotopo Babestuaren inguruan dagoen hezegunearen ondare naturala erakutsiko digu. Paraje hau benetako tamaina da, herriko mahasti ugarien artean dagoen basa-bizitzaren oasia. Edukiak askotarikoak izango dira: GR 38 bera eta bere historia, ibilbidearen izaera, etab.

La ruta del Vino y del Pescado era la ruta que antiguamente recorrían arrieros y mercaderes entre los principales puertos pesqueros de Bizkaia y la Rioja Alavesa, para el comercio de estos y otros productos.
Este recorrido nos descubrirá el patrimonio natural del "Prado de La Paúl", humedal situado en el entorno del Biotopo Protegido de las lagunas de Laguardia. Este paraje constituye un verdadero vergel, un oasis de vida silvestre entre los abundantes viñedos de la localidad. Los contenidos serán variados: el propio GR 38 y su historia, la naturaleza del recorrido, etc.
Recomendaciones:
- Acuda con ropa cómoda y calzado deportivo. Se recomienda llevar agua.

The Wine and Fish Route was the route that muleteers and merchants used to travel between the main fishing ports of Bizkaia and Rioja Alavesa, for the trade of these and other products.
This tour will discover the natural heritage of the "Prado de La Paúl", a wetland located in the area of the Protected Biotope of the Laguardia lagoons. This place constitutes a true orchard, an oasis of wildlife among the abundant vineyards of the town. The contents will be varied: the GR 38 itself and its history, the nature of the route, etc.
