The Fabrique de la ville was inaugurated in the heart of Saint-Denis in 2011, a stone’s throw from the basilica and adjacent to the tourist office. Raising her mushroom-like hat and accompanied by a site of archaeological excavations, she created surprise. A real urban island, in resonance with that of the basilica. Places full of history that let glimpse to the Dionysian population the origins of this land that they tread every day. A unique experience to experience, immersing yourself in the history of this famous city but which still hides many secrets. Since 2009, the public has been able to discover the archaeological site at the foot of the Fabrique and the numerous remains discovered, such as lavandière vats or the remains of a craft around animal skins.
