A perfumer for nearly 90 years, Lancôme wants to contribute to the development and promotion of Grasse’s perfume know-how, which is listed as a UNESCO intangible heritage. The Domaine de la Rose is a place of transmission around the trades related to perfume plants, and the know-how of the perfumer Lancôme, thanks to an educational distillery and a perfume organ. Cultivated organically for about sixty years, the 7 hectare Ecocert certified estate is now dedicated to the polyculture of a dozen perfume plants, including jasmine, iris, tuberose and Rose Centifolia, emblematic of the region.
