This urban Benedictine abbey occupied a large part of the city. There remains only the former home of the abbot, part of the conventual buildings of the seventeenth century. and the cloister of the eighteenth with a superb staircase built around 1750\\. In the garden, a 15th century church portal of unknown origin is attached to the rampart. The granary of plenty along Signier Street was destroyed in 1944\\. Nowadays, the building hosts the headquarters of the Prefecture of Aisne.
