Aperçu

Located at the exit of Bellegarde, on the road to Saint-Gilles, the Broussan estate is located on the southern slope of the Costières. The whole domain is composed of a rectangular mas extended by two perpendicular wings. The inner courtyard is limited to the south by the chapel, whose southern wall and bedside can only be seen. Dedicated to Saint Vincent, this chapel built between the 11th and 12th centuries was placed on one of the paths of Santiago de Compostela leading to Saint Gilles. The magnificent polychrome portal immediately attracts the eye notably by its two colonnettes supporting a semicircular arch. Inside, the single nave is composed of three bays and ends with the choir, formed by a semi-circular apse.
