19th century The Théâtre des Célestins, listed in the additional inventory of historic buildings, rich in 200 years of history, has preserved all the majesty of its original architecture dating from 1881: the richly decorated public foyer, the harmonious volumes of the atrium, the red and gold room make it an exceptional Italian theatre in the Rhône-Alpes region. After 24 months of extensive renovation work, in spring 2005 it became a unique place in France that combines tradition and high technicity.
