Otherness Exhibition - Contemporary Glass
In the spring of 2013, the city opened the doors of the Gribaldi House to the general public. This site is dedicated to the development of historical and iconographic municipal archives. One of the last vestiges of old Evian: considered as one of the last vestiges of old Évian, this Renaissance period house was certainly the outbuilding of a manor house. It borders the alley of Nant d'Enfer, just behind the Palais Lumière and rests on a part of the rampart that once encircled the medieval city. It was probably part of a group of mansions, acquired by Archbishop Vespasien de Gribaldi, perhaps annexes to his manor. Today, a tool of knowledge: open from April to the end of October, the Gribaldi house and its extension welcome on some 350 m² an exhibition space and a place of consultation of digitized archives.
