Aperçu

Dating from the 18th century, the main building, with its long façade and two side pavilions, will seduce you with its classic and imposing charm. A carved limestone pediment indicates the ownership of the estate by a noble family at the time (Des Réaulx). The castle of Brantigny, as it appears to us today, was built by François Des Réaulx, around 1740, on the site of a large fortified house. Preserved in this noble family until the end of the 19th century, it passed through the great historical facts without too many clashes: Revolution, Napoleonic wars, fire... Sold then rented, occupied by the Germans during the Second World War and almost abandoned then, it finds its stability with the Prod'homme-Collignon family in 1950 which gives it life again. It is in the continuity and respect of this historical heritage that the second generation works today to safeguard this enchanting place.
