Free visit of the Museum of Art and History Romain Rolland
The museum is installed(settled) in the old(former) hotel of the duke of Bellegarde (XVIIth century), registers in conformance with(for) Historic monuments, native house of Romain Rolland, that of its grandfather and a contemporary extension. He(It) shelters very rich collections: paintings(boards) given to François Mitterrand, Gallo-Roman and Merovingian archaeology, paintings(boards) and sculptures the from XVIth centuries till XXth centuries, posters of Charles Loupot, old(former) earthenwares of Clamecy and Nevers, memories of Romain Rolland, evocation of the activity of the drive of the wood.
