This building has archaeological features essential for the understanding of all the buildings of the Campan valley and can therefore serve as a reference. Its architectural arrangements, especially the exterior, are interesting, especially the southern entrance gate in a set of red and green marbles of Campan (1775). This is the parish church of the village, home to the workshops of carpenters and sculptors who decorated most of the Haut-Pyrénéennes churches from the middle of the 17th century to the beginning of the 19th century. The furniture was made here by Jean II Ferrère, after the fire of 1754.
