The Georges Rouquier space is a living place of memory dedicated to Georges Rouquier, a filmmaker who directed and shot in Goutrens, 38 years apart, two cult films in the history of cinema, Farrebique and Biquefarre. Georges Rouquier is also the author of numerous documentaries, shorts and feature films and fiction films. On the 250m2 of the Georges Rouquier space, visitors will discover the filmmaker and his work, through film excerpts. On a frieze of 40 meters long, unfolded from room to room, the life and work of Georges Rouquier illustrated with rare documents (images of shooting and reporting, photographs, reports and various archives, sound documents, etc...). Extracts of Farrebique and Biquefarre projected on screen. Slideshows of portraits, images of films and shootings. Panorama of the film production of G. Rouquier thanks to numerous film excerpts in seven "video boxes". A temporary exhibition room dedicated to themes related to cinema or rurality.
