At the top of the hill, in the town of Sainte-Foy-de-belvès, the chapel of the Bard is located inside the Bercail. This home is a medico-social institution for adults with intellectual disabilities. It was run from 1896 to 1990 by a congregation of Franciscan nuns and then by the association «Le Bercail», before merging in 2019 with the APEI of Périgueux. In the chapel, the stained glass windows and the Stations of the Cross are masterpieces of the Mauméjean dynasty. These masterpieces totally unknown in Périgord, should obtain protection under the Historic Monuments. The main idea would be to preserve the cultural and artistic interest of this chapel but also the memory and history of this place.
