The national academy(regional education authority) of sciences, literature and arts of Bordeaux was created by letters patent of Louis XIV in 1712\\. She(It) assembles in the Hotel of the learnt Companies(Societies) which dates the environment(middle) of the XIXth century. The visitors will be able to see lounges(shows), room of sessions and library(bookcase) with an important heritage: paintings(boards) (among which a portrait of Montesquieu classified as "Historic Monument"), engravings, busts, medals, works, in particular reports of the academicians of the XIXth century who will be exposed(explained). The big(great) staircase of the Hotel with a beautiful stained-glass window of the XIXth century is also interesting.
