COMPANION MUSEUM OF THE MANOIR DE LA HAUTIÈRE
Home of a small rural estate outside Nantes, today in the heart of the city, the manor house of the Hautière is since before 1400 a modest seigneurial habitat. Representative of the civil architecture of the Middle Ages, the facade consists of two adjoining buildings without concern for architectural organization and has little ornamentation, with the exception of a tuffeau dormer with large gable decorated with accolade with fleurons, probably XV°. Rehabilitated since 1968 by the Union Compagnonnique , the manor is now dedicated to the exhibition of masterpieces and tools of companions. M.O Mandy. (2002).
