Join us for a walk that covers the development of a Victorian suburb, including the architects, builders and masons responsible for it.
Starting at the Cooperage on Pollokshaws Road exploring the historic village of Strathbungo, largely vanished, before walking through the Victorian suburb, exploring the buildings, the builders and architects, and some of the early residents.
Ends at Titwood Road or return to the Cooperage.
The tour covers 1.6-2.2km / 1-1.4 miles.

Overview
SGHET champions and explores the histories and places of South Glasgow through a wide range of activities, publications, and projects from guidebooks and podcasts to blogs, talks, walks and other community ventures.
For Doors Open Day we are conducting a series of guided southside walks.

Coffee stop optional at end of walk.
The walk is entirely at street level, and given the narrow pavements in Strathbungo, often in the street itself. It should be wheelchair accessible if you can manage typical Glasgow streets.
See details on our Eventbrite listing.
