Holmwood, located in the Southside of Glasgow, was masterfully designed by Alexander ‘Greek’ Thomson for James Couper, a paper magnate, and his wife in 1857–8.
This architectural gem is widely recognised as Thomson’s most exceptional domestic creation, showcasing his incredible design legacy.
