10:00-14:00 Drop-in: Meet the archivists, see (and touch & feel) an exhibition of unique historic documents from the archives and a rolling PowerPoint explaining the history of the collection. Please note that it will not be possible to accommodate individual research appointments on Doors Open Day.
The nearest accessible toilet is at Inveraray Castle – approx. 10 mins on foot from the Archives.
The exhibition space is accessible but the stores are not currently accessible by wheelchairs.
Nearest refreshments available at Inveraray Castle teashop or coffee van.
There will be table-top activities available for children under supervision of their accompanying adult(s). No unaccompanied children under 16.
Free parking in the Argyll Estates visitors’ carpark to the north of Cherry Park. Limited Blue Badge parking in Cherry Park courtyard. Please check for availability.
