On the occasion of the European Heritage Days 2025, Retour de Plage opens the doors of its main workshop, in the heart of the island of Oléron, to introduce you to an artisanal know-how, born in Charente-Maritime. For more than 30 years, Retour de Plage has been creating and manufacturing handmade jewellery with a marine air, made from natural materials such as mother-of-pearl, wood, linen or cork. Each piece comes to life in our hands, in our workshop in Dolus-d'Oléron and at the heart of our 13 boutique workshops along the West Coast. A craftsmanship, authentic and unique, born facing the ocean. The Saturday, September 20, we invite you to dive behind the scenes of our marine universe through three guided tours : 👉 9am – 10:30am 👉 11am – 12:30pm 👉 2:30 PM – 4 PM On the program: 🔹 The creative workshop Dive into the world of design: choice of materials, harmony of colors... Discover how our creations are born, through the seasons and seaside inspirations. 🔹 The manufacturing workshop Attend the meticulous gestures of our editors: a local know-how, transmitted and perfected year after year, at the service of jewelry entirely handmade.
