Grande Nef, great transformations!
From the southern end of L'Île-Saint-Denis, an impressive architecture of concrete, steel and glass overlooks the Seine. Venue for sports competitions or concerts of great artists from the 70s and 80s, it also hosted training sessions as part of the 2024 Paris Olympic Games... Here is the Grande Nef Lucien-Belloni! "Mouth of whale", "overturned barque" or "boat hull", this architectural piece, a true technical feat, has been labeled "Heritage of the 20th century" and listed in the additional inventory of Historical Monuments. Closed to the public since 2018, it has subsequently undergone major renovation works that will allow it to regain its original sporting use. Put on your best shirt and follow Anouk Colombani for a tour of the field to discover the exceptional sports center of L'Île-des-Vannes and one of the oldest rowing clubs in the Paris region, located nearby! This visit is organized in partnership with the city of Saint-Ouen-sur-Seine which exceptionally allows access. BookBook
