Discovering an emblematic monument, perched on the Côte de Trême
The City of Dieulouard, in partnership with the club Rando à Gogo MPTT, invites you to a commented hike of 5 km to discover an emblematic monument: the chapel Notre-Dame des Airs, perched on the Coast of Trême. Along the way, you will discover the fascinating history of Dieulouard, an ancient Gallo-Roman city known as Scarpone, as well as the secrets of the path to Trême. This trail, today used by pilgrims on the way to Saint-Jacques de Compostelle, offers an exceptional panorama of the Moselle valley. Notre-Dame des Airs, inaugurated in 1920, is a chapel commemorating the First World War. This walk is an invitation to walk in the footsteps of history, through nature, heritage and memory. On the occasion of these exceptional days, you will also have the opportunity to discover the church of Saint-Sébastien as well as the museum of the castle of Dieulouard.
