Discovery of the vertical Champenois landscape
On the occasion of the 10th anniversary of the inscription of the hillsides, houses and cellars of Champagne on the UNESCO World Heritage list, we invite you to the Little City of Character of Les Riceys for a presentation of the vertical landscape of Champagne. Starting from the point of view of the landscapes of the Rosé, Arnaud Lamoureux, head of the local committee of the Mission Coteaux, Maisons et Caves de Champagne, will present to you the emblematic landscape of our region. You will walk through vineyards and hillsides, towards the village, to discover the typical stone architecture of winegrower houses. To finish, you will be welcomed in the cellar of a passionate winemaker, who will make you taste his wines. Informations A 3 km walk downhill. Good shoes recommended. Meeting point: Place de l'Église in Ricey-Bas. Transfer by car to the viewpoint.
