Participate in the exhibition 'Confluences'
The exhibition 'Confluences' brings together the collections of the François Schneider Foundation, FRAC Alsace, FRAC Champagne-Ardenne and 49 Nord 6 Est – FRAC Lorraine. Inspired by the concept of "confluences", she explores the interactions between different works, like rivers that meet. The pieces, from various styles and cultures, highlight shared emotions around water. Although each one is distinct, they respond to each other and weave invisible links. The exhibition then presents thirty artists with varied mediums such as painting, video, photography, installation, sculpture and textile. Through different themes, the works dialogue on forms, compositions, narratives and colors. Visitors are invited to imagine themselves in moments of life inspired by water, whether they admire a sparkling sea, explore urban beaches or observe the harmony between body and water. This exhibition offers a new perspective on the works while revealing the common inspirations of the artists and thus showing the striking echoes between the pieces presented.
