Ixelles is one of the municipalities most closely linked to the capital and the city centre. But a century ago, things were very different! During a guided tour, we will show you how Art Deco developed around the Cambre-Etoile district. There are some must-sees, of course, but there are also some lesser-known sights! We will also look at the names of these constructions that were bold for their time, what the area was like before massive urbanisation, and the architects’ intentions, as well as their works elsewhere! This will be an opportunity to rediscover some Brussels designers who are not so well known, even though they shaped the city of today! And as this is also a musical tour, music will be played at every stage of the visit, to combine historical content, a journey into the past, and pleasure for the ears!
