Take a guided walk through 1,000 years of history at our historic churchyard . Stories that feature Covenantors, heroes and villains, epic wars to include Waterloo and the Crimea, French, American and Agricultural Revolutions, tradesmen and merchants, Provosts, artisans and most famously of all, the Mausoleum of Scottish bard Robert Burns. 3,500 mostly local red sandstone graves spread over several acres, not to mention the 80-90,000 that lie beneath the site whose stories we can only guess.
