Joe Hogan, Basketmaker, will have an open studio event at Lough Na Fooey, Shanafaraghaun, Co Galway on Wednesday 20th of August as part of Heritage Week from 11.00 to 12.30. There will be a collection of heritage baskets on display and also some artistic baskets inspired by indigenous baskets such as the Creel. If the weather is dry there will also be a walk to nearby willow beds. Tea and Coffee available. The event is free but because of limited parking at the site it is limited to 10 people and pre-booking is essential.
