Whether you're a seasoned line dancer or new to the scene, we have something for everyone, including simple dances for the public to try. This event is part of the Renfrewshire Doors Open Days celebrations. Don’t miss out on the fun! Maggie Stevenson is a qualified member of the British Association of Teachers of Dance (BATD) and leads line dance lessons and Cowboy Ceilidh events at Maggie's Rock’n’Rodeo in Glasgow. She offers line dance instruction at various functions, including community events and private parties. Maggie collaborated with local country singer Kevin McGuire and DJ George Bowie on the music video for "Wagon Wheel" and has worked with several country artists to create bespoke dance elements. In a recent interview on BBC Radio 2 with Jeremy Vine, she discussed the growing popularity of country music and line dancing in Scotland, even teaching Jeremy a line dance live on air. In May 2025, she organised a successful line dance flash-mob in Glasgow’s City Centre, with plans to expand the event for 2026. In recognition of her contributions, Maggie was a finalist at the Scottish Country Music Awards and won the title of SCMA Line Dance Instructor of the Year 2025.
