Ballyhanna Medieval Church and Burial Ground. Join together this Heritage Week 2025 to remember the “Forgotten Souls” from the “Forgotten Graveyard” at Ballyhanna in Ballyshannon. The intriguing re-discovery of the Church’s foundation and the remains of 1,300 people were revealed during excavation works on the new by-pass in 2003/2004. 22 years on, the Ballyshannon Regeneration Group will host an evening of remembrance through spoken word, poetry, music and discussion This is an outdoor event so wear suitable clothing for the occasion.
