Perth Art Gallery
14 September 2025 (10:00 - 16:00) The oldest part of Perth Art Gallery was established in 1824 and designed by architect David Morison. It was one of the oldest purpose-built museums in the United Kingdom. The Museum's collection contains thousands of objects relating to natural and social history, art, crafts, textiles, and cultural objects from around the world. Perth Art Gallery invites you to look behind the scenes at one of the oldest purpose-built museum and gallery buildings in the UK, housing Perth Museum’s collection of over half a million historic and artistic objects. Tours will be led by curators. For Doors Open Days there will be two tours on Sunday 14th September: There is no accessible access to The Dark Room photography exhibition - access is by stairs only. All other galleries and spaces are accessible.
