6 September 2025 (10:00 - 15:00) An exhibition of the general history of North Lochs, incorporating the shops of the villages, the history of boat building in North Lochs, and more. This exhibition fits the 2025 Doors Open Days theme by celebrating the architectural heritage of the North Lochs community who relied on village shops and ships to support their families. Most of the building is wheelchair accessible. Access to main hall may require going via kitchen area. The community centre at Leurbost has ramp as well as stair access to building and space for Vehicle parking. On the day of the planned event, the café, run by the local association, will also be running where light refreshments will be available using a ‘pay what you can’ payment model.
