6 September 2025 (11:00 - 16:00) 7 September 2025 (11:00 - 16:00) Johnstone has a rich weaving history, once home to many thriving textile factories. To celebrate this heritage, we will be facilitating yarn spinning and weaving workshops. Each workshop will last 2 hours. We can host up to 12 people for each workshop. Refreshments provided. Day 1: Workshop learning to spin yarn on a wheel, using a variety of fibres. Day 2: Handloom weaving workshop using yarn spun from the workshop on Day 1. Please note that workshops on both days will be from 12 PM to 2 PM, are bookable, and have to be prebooked in advance.
