18 September 2025 (18:00 - 20:00) The Future of the Tenement: Retrofit, Resilience and Renewables Chris Morgan, director at John Gilbert Architects, will deliver a talk on the potential of tenements to adapt in response to our changing climate. The event will cover the need for retrofit, approaches to upgrading fabric, and the transition of tenements to net zero. Following the talk there will be a facilitated discussion and Q&A including a conservation specialist. Overview John Gilbert Architects is a Scottish design studio, passionate about designing places for people and the planet. We deliver beautiful, efficient, affordable projects designed with users, residents and the community. We undertake design work from a strategic level to detailed architecture with creativity, enthusiasm and knowledge.
