The puppets are for everyone!

Young or «less young», jaded. e or curious, collector or collector of unique and decorative art objects, handyman or handyman interested. e by the technique or by the «joyful tinkering», loving the living arts, parents or grandparents looking for activities for children or teenagers, or simply loving puppets a little, a lot or passionately, this visit is for you! You will not remain insensitive to the charm and the unusual of the puppets in this exhibition, made for a large number from materials and objects recovered, ordinary or unexpected. On the occasion of the Heritage Days, the Atelier Botsuak offers you an immersion in the universe of puppets of all kinds (with strings, on the table, in hand, in staves, Chinese shadows, maroons, from mini-finger puppets to human-sized puppets, with a wise or wild appearance, often very decorative in addition to fun) with a visit to its exhibition-sale space and manufacturing space, guided and commented by Laurence and Rui the two creators of this small universe. Come and wander freely in the middle of the puppets, come and learn about the manufacturing methods, techniques, materials used, the animation modes of each type of puppet and come to animate the puppets made available to you yourself, entertaining and easy to handle. A shadow puppetry booth is specially dedicated to the youngest: they will be able to learn shadow puppetry like real pros! To the "big ones", we will introduce our workshop animation proposals for children, teenagers and themselves.
