Built by one of the most prestigious organ builders in France during the 18th century, the Clicquot, the Houdan organ is one of the few classical French instruments that has not undergone any transformation over the centuries. Also he is a valuable witness for the interpretation of organ music of that time and is admired by organists from all over the world. Régis Allard, his organist, will perform it through pieces from the baroque repertoire. The instrument has been the subject of a recent review followed by the recording of a CD by Régis Allard entitled "Magnificat 1739" and awarded with 5 tuning forks.
