Aperçu

The Jules Verne House opens its doors for free on Saturday 20 and Sunday 21 September, from 10 am to 12:30 pm (last entry at 12 pm) and from 2 pm to 6 pm (last entry at 5:30 pm). An exceptional night opening is also offered on Saturday, from 7pm to 10pm (last entry at 9:30pm), for a special atmosphere in the heart of the residence. This year 2025 dedicated to Jules Verne, to commemorate the 120th anniversary of his death, will be a unique opportunity to discover a selection of unpublished objects and documents from the collections of the Libraries of Amiens Métropole. Visitors can wander freely in the house, without a guided tour, to enjoy an immersion in the nineteenth century. In parallel, a exceptional artistic performance will take place in the courtyard of the house: the grapher Rimk will create a live fresco, offering visitors a visual spectacle to admire while waiting for access to the mansion. Come experience a moment of discovery and emotion around one of the greatest French authors, in a place steeped in history and mystery.
