Aperçu

On the occasion of the 20th anniversary of the Maison de l'Habitat et du Cadre de Vie, this edition of the Heritage Days invites the public for the first time to discover the other side of the decor of an emblematic place in the République/ Montferrand district. On the program, guided tours to "read" the architecture of the building — choice of materials, bioclimatic design, role of plants, views from the terrace—and understand its urban integration and history since 2005. Spaces animated by the structures that occupy the site will present, in an educational and friendly way, the professions mobilized on a daily basis around housing: energy renovation, legal advice, architecture, urban planning, living environment. A selection of archival documents, plans and photographs will trace the evolution of the place and its uses. This event will also be the opportunity to inaugurate a material library, which will allow touching and comparing different materials for renovating or building housing. Throughout the weekend: • Renew'actions63 offers an information stand to understand the aids, support pathways and local solutions, with personalized responses to each situation. • La Réno'mobile is located nearby to introduce, as close as possible to the public, concrete solutions: demonstrations, models, samples of materials and exchanges with advisors. • The Conseil d'architecture, d'urbanisme et de l'environnement (CAUE) offers an advice space to meet an architect-advisor, an urban planner or a landscape gardener and benefit from independent and free advice, outside of any commercial act. • The Agence départementale d'information sur le logement du Puy-de-Dôme (ADIL 63) holds a neutral and free information stand on housing (rental, purchase, co-ownership, taxation, prevention of difficulties, etc.). Playful and participatory formats punctuate the visit: • Behind-the-scenes visit of the building, followed by a quiz to test your knowledge on architecture and the High Environmental Quality (HQE) approach. (Saturday 20 at 2:30 PM; Sunday 21 at 11 AM, 2 PM and 4:30 PM) • 'Renovation fresco': a collaborative workshop to visualize the steps of an efficient project, from diagnosis to work and mobilization of assistance. (8 pm at 4 pm; 9 pm at 4:30 pm) • Renovation escape game: as a team, take on the challenge of virtually renovating a house in a limited time, to better understand the right gestures and energy saving levers. (from 8 pm to 5 pm; from 9 pm to 10:30 am) An exhibition of the Regional Directorate for the Environment, Planning and Housing (DREAL), "Tailor-made solutions to adapt to the scarcity of resources and live well in our territories," illuminates the challenges and benefits of land sobriety (presentations on the 21st at 11:30 AM then at 2:30 PM). She proposes: • a perspective on urban forms and the effects of recent sprawl; • an approach based on soils, a living resource to be protected in the city’s fabric; • concrete levers to overcome blockages between actors (recycling of the existing, controlled density, nature in the city, social and territorial cohesion). Highlight of the weekend: a round table "How to combine lime and hemp in the buildings of yesterday and today? The example of the House of Habitat and Living Environment», with: • Claude Lefrançois, known as "Papyclaude" (author, popularizer, trainer on ancient buildings), • Arnaud Degois (Saint-Astier, contributor to Building in hemp), • in the presence of Yves Perret, building architect. By linking heritage, architecture and contemporary uses, this anniversary offers an immersion behind the scenes of an exemplary building and in the professions that accompany, on a daily basis, sustainable living.
