Church of Brommes
Free visit: the Church and its modifications – Saturday and Sunday from 9am to 6pm
Come discover exceptional modillions. The nave and the choir are covered by a barrel-shaped barrel and the apse, which has three sections on the outside, is arched like an oven. The triumphal arch falls on two detached columns with carved capitals. Outside, the sculpture of the capitals of the portal, the corbelets and the cornice of the apse, is very characteristic. The heads of men and animals are treated 'in the Assyrian style'. On the doubleau that precedes the choir rises a comb bell tower which seems Romanesque, but whose roof must date back to the 16th century. Access: From Mur-de-Barrez, take the direction of Raulhac, at the Côte Blanche, follow Brommes D79.Contact: Mrs. Hibert : 05 65 66 06 37
