A rich program of cultural and festive activities to celebrate the emblematic fruit of the city: the fig!

FIGS DAYS The unmissable event of autumn. For its 28th edition, the association "Site Remarquable du Goût, Figs of Vézénobres" and the House of the Fig propose you to dive into the heart of the Middle Ages with a program of cultural and festive animations around the fig and the fig tree. An invitation to discover the know-how, traditions and history of this emblematic fruit. Street entertainment, exhibitions, conferences, guided tours, large farmers' market, tastings and on-site catering... Something to delight the curious and gourmets in a warm and friendly atmosphere. • From 9am to 6pm in the heart of the medieval city. All the program of Figs' Days, available on the site of the House of La Figue soon. EUROPEAN HERITAGE DAYS A unique place to discover the secrets of the fig. The medieval town of Vézénobres, a village perched with character overlooking the plain of the gardons, asserts itself as the capital of the fig at the foot of the Cévennes since the Middle Ages. This tradition around the fig leads the National Botanical Conservatory of Porquerolles to choose Vézénobres for the duplication of part of its collection. The House of the Fig through a unique scenographic work combining educational contents and playful approach, allows the interpretation of this gastronomic tradition in this city labeled "Remarkable site of taste". • Saturday 20 and Sunday 21 September
• From 9:30 AM to 5:30 PM: free and open tour of the House of the Fig.
• Guided tours throughout the weekend. By reservation. Price: 5€/person.
