Visit of the church Saint-Jean-de-Narosse
On the occasion of the European Heritage Days, enjoy a guided tour of the Saint-Jean-de-Narosse church in Santenay. Built from 1220 in the part of Santenay then called Narosse, now Santenay-le-Haut, Saint-Jean was originally a chapel and became a parish church only around 1270. It is then formed by a nave flanked by two collatérals in late Romanesque style, probably with a flat choir surmounted by a comb-like bell tower. The church was classified as a historical monument in 1928. Several restoration projects, until the last one which ended in 2004, have allowed to restore its XVth century aspect.
