On the occasion of the European Heritage Days, you can visit the large vaults (the underground) of the castle of Verteuil sur Charente, which are also a refuge for bats. This is the first opening to the public of these underground passages of the castle. The visit will be guided and commented by members of the association Verteuil History and Heritage (VHP).
