Exhibition of postcards from different eras in the church of Berny-sur-Noye

More than fifty postcards have been published since the beginning of the 20th century on Berny sur Noye and its territory. On the occasion of the European Heritage Days, the association "Les amis de l'église de Berny" has chosen to show you the most representative postcards of the evolution of the village over more than a century. Comments accompany these documents to help you situate yourself in time such as the arrival of the phone, electricity, water... Well before today’s social networks, the postcard during the 14-18 war was also a means of communication with moving correspondences. Through these postcards from different eras, we invite you to this walk in the streets of Berny sur Noye, to find some memories, and to rediscover with another look: the village square, the streets, the typical Picard habitat, the landscapes... This free exhibition in the church of Berny is also an opportunity to visit this 16th century building, to have explanations on its furniture and paintings from the 17th and 18th centuries with members of the association "Les amis de l'église de Berny".
