The Grand Chancellery of the Legion of Honor opens its doors on the occasion of the European Heritage Days on 20 and 21 September with a program celebrating the memory of its more than two hundred years of existence. On the occasion of this edition dedicated to "architectural heritage as a witness to the evolution of our history and our memories", the visit will allow the discovery of the palace of the Legion of Honor, mansion of the eighteenth century completely redecorated in the 1870s to magnify the great characters of France and the highest national honor distinction. It will continue in the museum of the institution which this year celebrates its first century with an exhibition in commented visit: 100 years of honors – Destiny of a museum, destinies of decorated.
