Self-guided tour of the museum
On the occasion of the European Heritage Days, the Mathon-Durand museum opens its doors to you for a visit under the sign of architecture and local history. Located in the heart of Neufchâtel-en-Bray, the building that now houses the museum is itself a valuable testimony to built heritage. Built in the 16th century, this old bourgeois house, now a municipal museum, still retains remarkable architectural elements: facades with wooden panels typical of the region, original framing, ancient parquet floors and period stairs. A unique opportunity to discover or rediscover this emblematic place of Neufchâtelois heritage.
