Discover, or rediscover, one of the best preserved castles of the Loire!
Through fifteen rooms that have retained their original decor and furniture, let yourself be carried away in the daily life of a large castle in Anjou. The kitchens with 200 copper utensils, the staff rooms, the large living room and its extraordinary ebony cabinet of the 17th century, the children’s bedrooms and the playroom, the Louis XV-style apartments, not to mention the immense library of 12,000 books, each room transports you to 1890 when the castle was inhabited by the Duke and Duchess of La Trémoïlle, great collectors and ancestors of the current owners.Free access to the landscaped park
The landscaped park laid out between 1782 and 1820 is accessible free of charge to enjoy a walk between woods and ponds. Horse-drawn carriage rides or pony rides are offered for families (on Sundays only). On-site catering (baked in a wood fire) and possible picnic in the park. Demonstration of stone cutting by the craftsmen of the restoration site of the facades of the castle (on Saturday only).Guided tours "flash" to discover fragile rooms
Accompanied by a tour guide, you can visit the apartments of the duke and duchess de la Trémoïlle, or go up to the attic to walk in the footsteps of the former servants who had their rooms there. Informations Single rate 8€/person from 18 years old.
