1) Welcome and start of the visit:

The visit will start from outside the mosque with an introduction on the role of mosques in Islam and their presence in France. The guide will continue with the presentation of the history of the great mosque of Dammarie Les Lys and finally on the exterior architectural elements.

2) Architecture and interior decoration:

The visit will continue inside the mosque to discover the architectural and decorative elements such as moldings, calligraphy.

3) Presentation of the prayer rooms

The guide will present the different prayer spaces and their functioning (Qibla, Mihrab, Minbar).

4) Explanation on the rites and conduct of prayers

To better understand the religious life of the faithful, the guide will detail the main rites and practices on Muslim canonical prayer.

5) Exchanges, questions / Moment of conviviality and surprise!

To close the visit, a time of conviviality will be offered and will allow visitors to ask all their questions and deepen their knowledge about Islam and Muslim culture.
