The story of "Petticoat Loose" is well known to people in South-West Tipperary. A local woman, as punishment for her misbehaviours, "Petticoat Loose" was condemned to drain Baylough, in the heart of the Knockmealdown Mountains, with a thimble. Two years ago, tbis legend was the subject of a community film project which was commissioned by the Clonmel Busking Festival. On August 22nd, it will be shown in the Audio-Visual Room of Cahir Castle. Although there is no charge for admission, we ask patrons to book online or by phone. Details will be provided closer to the event. We will provide further information on booking arrangements closer to the event.
