Step into the past with The Big Dig, an exciting hands-on archaeological experience for children of all ages. Run by the School of Irish Archaeology, this interactive dig lets young explorers uncover replica artefacts, and discover what life was like in ancient Ireland on the sacred grounds of Uisneach. Then, gather in our Echoes of Uisneach interpretive centre for a special screening of Eriu, the stunning new short animated film from the multi-Oscar-nominated studio Cartoon Saloon. This film shows the early life of the goddess Eriu, from whom Ireland takes her name - and who, legend says, still watches over the Hill of Uisneach!
