TIMELINES: An Exhibition of Archaeological Illustration and Design An exhibition celebrating 25 years of Rubicon Archaeology Step into the world of ancient lives and lost landscapes through TIMELINES, an exhibition of archaeological illustration and graphic art that brings the past vividly to life. Featuring the work of acclaimed illustrators Hannah Sims and John Flynn, the exhibition showcases a stunning array of reconstructions, technical drawings, and interpretive artwork inspired by real archaeological discoveries. Held in celebration of 25 years of Rubicon Archaeology, TIMELINES reflects on a quarter century of uncovering the past and the creative ways in which it’s shared with the present. As part of the exhibition, Hannah Sims and John Flynn will give a talk at 2.30 pm on August 19th, offering insights into their creative process and the role of illustration in archaeological storytelling. From precise site plans to evocative artistic impressions, this exhibition offers a unique insight into how illustration shapes our understanding of history.
