The event will highlight Ireland's rich cultural heritage, focusing on the Ogham alphabet and its connection to native trees. Children will engage in learning about the ancient Ogham script and the importance of trees in Irish history and culture. Activities: (i) Forest School Nature Crafts Carousel. Children (aged 5-12) will craft their own Ogham signs on different kinds of native wood, allowing them to connect with both heritage and nature in a creative way; (ii) Garraí na Leanaí Drop in and Play. This sensory play experience will include nature based crafts, songs and games, with a focus on trees and Ogham. Children will be encouraged to explore different textures and materials inspired by the natural world. The event will be run in conjunction with Dúlra Forest School.
